CLIMATE CONTROL
Panel 1
A blue-shirted technician stands beside the crowned king in a stone castle room. The king shivers and holds a gray wrap around his shoulders. A round thermostat is mounted near a plum armchair.
King: The heat keeps turning itself down.
Panel 2
A tall blue ghost turns the round thermostat while gesturing with its free hand. Its tapering body curls into the bottom of the thermostat. The technician studies it with a hand at his beard, and the king watches.
Ghost: We’re not heating the whole castle!
Panel 3
The technician holds the removed round thermostat away from the wall. The ghost reaches for it, its taper still connected to the casing. A rectangular replacement with an amber indicator is mounted on the wall, and the king watches.
Panel 4
The king relaxes in the plum armchair, with his gray wrap over its arm. Beside him, the smiling ghost holds the detached round thermostat in both hands, its taper curving back into the casing. The technician looks on with a restrained smile; the replacement thermostat’s amber indicator is lit.
